Applying a layer of foundation (also set with powder) prior to applying primer will add even more setting power!
Straightening, Blow drying and even just the heat from your shower/in your home really take a toll on your hair. To avoid damaged, brittle, dry hair always make sure to have a barrier between the heat styling product and your strands (Such as the Chi Keratin Mist)! Your hair will thank you.
Lightly dust your normal blush color upward from the apples of your cheeks. Now, make a fish-face and figure out where your cheekbone is, apply another application of a slightly darker-toned blush right below your cheekbone. Finally, blend and blend and blend. Voila! Perfect blush application. :)
Anonymous asked: how do you get your hair that pastel pink color? (: it's so gorgeous. and how long does it take until it fades?
Thank you! I made it kinda swirly by dying the extensions before I put them on my head (theres a bit of platinum to pastel pink gradient going on)…but I take a droplet of pink dye and dilute with a bunch of conditioner, and I highlighted it again with a peachy-pink….It washes out very quickly so I use a sulfate-free shampoo to prevent color washout :O)
Because all the motherfucking names are too confusing, here’s a chart.
This chart shows you the spectrum of colors you can expect when lightening your hair with peroxide/bleach. On many box bleaching products, you may see notes such as “lightens hair up to 3 shades” which means if you started with black hair, you can expect to end up with medium brown hair after the process. This is why a lot of people find themselves going bald before they reach platinum when they start with dark hair. Bleaching hair is very tricky and delicate process. In order to continue lightening your hair, you MUST do ample conditioning treatments in between chemical processing. I highly recommend that if you have never bleached your hair before and wish to do so, you should get it done by a professional. I can’t tell you how many bleaching-nightmares I can recall. Over-processing your hair is extremely damaging, and it takes quite a bit of time and treatments to recuperate your hair from it. Keep this chart in mind next time you consider lightening your hair and what you can expect. Everyone’s hair is different, no two people will get the exact same result.
How to get brassy tones out of blonde hair. It is all about neutralizing the yellow and orange hues, which is why purple and blue toners are recommended to counter the orangey tones that come with bleaching hair. Use a toner or silver shampoo/conditioner. Do NOT keep bleaching your hair, it is very damaging and requires ample conditioning treatments in between processes.
Pardon my shotty illustration, but here is a diagram to show you how to properly highlight and contour your face with make-up. This is a technique used to define facial features and provide depth and light to the contours of one’s face. Highlighting can be done with a powder/shimmer and contouring can be done with a bronzer or another powder which is slightly darker than your skin tone. Highlights can also be added right under the arch of your brow and the inner corners of your eye to make them seem brighter. You can also apply some bronzer to conceal a double-chin. Most importantly, don’t forget to blend, blend, blend! I Hope this helps! xo
